About the Biology Teacher Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our high-achieving Science department. The successful Biology Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Biology across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a passion for the subject.

Responsibilities of the Biology Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore Biology concepts and develop their scientific skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress in Biology, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to the development of the Biology curriculum and departmental resources.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Biology teaching.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Biology or a related field.
• Experience teaching Biology at the secondary level.
• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Biology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for Biology and a commitment to inspiring students.
