KS1 Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of KS1 students.
- Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
- Support students in developing their independent learning skills and encourage them to take responsibility for their learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum planning and delivery.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them updated on student progress and addressing any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as required.
KS1 Teacher Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
- A team-oriented approach with a commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
