The Role
As an ECT in KS1 or KS2, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of your students.
- Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment where children feel confident and motivated.
- Monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback, supporting every child to achieve their potential.
- Encourage curiosity, independence, and a love for learning through interactive and dynamic teaching approaches.
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and leadership to develop best practices and ensure high standards.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, celebrating successes and addressing any challenges.
- Take advantage of professional development opportunities and grow into an outstanding educator.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Passion for teaching in KS1 or KS2 and a commitment to nurturing young learners.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to classroom teaching.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to build a long-term career in education.
