Location: Hounslow 

Role: Music Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a wide range of musical genres and styles.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Arts department to share best practice and enhance the Music curriculum.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Music.
• Potentially direct musical ensembles, manage instrumental tuition, or develop links with external musical organizations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Music or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong musical skills, including performance experience and theoretical knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead musical activities.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the Music department and school music.
