The Role β Physics Teacher
As a Physics Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:
β’ Delivering engaging and challenging lessons in Physics across KS3βKS5
β’ Inspiring pupils to achieve their potential in both internal and external assessments
β’ Taking an active role in curriculum development and resource creation
β’ Working collaboratively with other Physics Teachers to ensure consistent excellence in teaching
β’ Supporting students through enrichment, mentoring, and academic guidance beyond the classroom
β’ Promoting a lifelong interest in physics and its applications in the wider world
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a committed Physics Teacher who:
β’ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a strong academic background in physics or a related discipline
β’ Has experience teaching Physics across the secondary age range, ideally including A-Level
β’ Is passionate about physics and has a proven ability to motivate high-achieving students
β’ Works well as part of a team and actively contributes to departmental goals
β’ Demonstrates high expectations, excellent subject knowledge, and a student-centred approach
β’ Is ready to support the broader school ethos through involvement in extracurricular activities
