Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons covering performance, script analysis, and theatre history across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE Drama examinations and practical performances.
• Cultivate a supportive and collaborative environment where students can explore their dramatic talents and develop their performance skills.
• Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular drama clubs, school productions, and theatre trips.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama or Performing Arts.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong knowledge of dramatic literature, performance techniques, theatre history, and contemporary theatre practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and directorial skills, capable of inspiring students and leading successful theatrical productions.
