Physics Specialist required in Barking! (Outstanding School)
Drive advanced Physics education at our leading Barking school! Primarily a Key Stage 5 teaching role.
Our ambitious school in Barking is looking for a dedicated and skilled Physics Teacher with a primary focus on Key Stage 5. You will be instrumental in advancing students' understanding of complex Physics principles and preparing them for the rigors of higher education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver stimulating and rigorous Physics lessons primarily to A-Level students.
- Develop and deliver engaging practical experiments and investigations at KS5.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to A-Level Physics students.
- Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress at KS5.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high standard of Physics teaching across all key stages.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest research and developments in Physics.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Physics or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching Physics at A-Level (or strong potential as an ECT with a strong Physics background).
- A deep understanding of advanced Physics concepts and their application.
- Proven ability to motivate and challenge A-Level students.
- Excellent communication and assessment skills.
