Our high-achieving school in Barking is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher with a strong focus on Key Stage 5. You will play a crucial role in guiding and challenging our most able Physics students as they prepare for university and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and in-depth Physics lessons primarily to A-Level students.
• Develop and refine the KS5 Physics curriculum to ensure excellence and student success.
• Provide effective assessment and feedback to stretch and challenge advanced learners.
• Foster independent research and analytical skills in students.
• Contribute to the development of resources and enrichment opportunities for KS5 Physics.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality Science provision.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Physics or a closely related field.
• Significant experience teaching Physics at A-Level (or strong potential as an ECT with a strong Physics background).
• A thorough understanding of the A-Level Physics specification and assessment requirements.
• Proven ability to inspire and challenge high-achieving students.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
