Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
• Inspire students to achieve their full potential in English language and literature.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
• Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of student progress.
• TLR opportunities may be available in areas such as mentoring, data analysis, or leading specific projects within the department.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
• Experience teaching English at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• A strong commitment to student success and well-being.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A desire to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to leadership (for TLR consideration).
