Our supportive and progressive school in Hackney is looking for a motivated English Teacher who is keen to develop their leadership skills. This role offers the exciting prospect of a TLR for the right candidate, allowing you to contribute to the strategic direction of the English department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
• Encourage students to become confident and articulate communicators.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.
• Contribute to the planning and assessment of the English curriculum.
• TLR opportunities are available for candidates with the skills and ambition to lead in areas such as curriculum innovation or assessment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field.

• Demonstrated interest and potential in taking on leadership responsibilities (for TLR consideration).
