The successful English Teacher will have a passion for literature and language and the ability to engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a committed English Teacher to contribute to the school's continued success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop students' understanding and appreciation of English literature and language.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations in English Language and Literature.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and resources within the department.
• Encourage a love of reading and writing across the school.
• Participate in extracurricular activities related to English.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
• Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire girls.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
