About the Role

An Outstanding secondary school in Brent seeks a passionate English Teacher to join their English department from September. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across all key stages, fostering a love of literature and language, and preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. We are looking for a skilled English Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across all key stages.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
• Develop students' analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. We require an English Teacher who can perform these tasks.
• Contribute to the development of the English curriculum.
• Organise and lead English-related extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
• Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. We need an experienced English Teacher for this position.
