Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Geography department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement a stimulating and relevant curriculum that challenges and engages students.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to improve outcomes.
• Lead departmental CPD and ensure teachers are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding lessons.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Geography or a related subject.
• Proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting.
• Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the Geography curriculum.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
